The Opportunity

Neat App Hub is the first of its kind marketplace that brings apps that are part of our customers’ everyday workflow to Neat video devices in shared meeting spaces. This unique offering is fast becoming a key differentiator for customers worldwide. With our commitment to continuous innovation, we are pioneering the creation of a software developer ecosystem to further expand App Hub.

As an experienced and dynamic Developer Program Marketing Manager, you will spearhead the discovery and creation of this software developer program aimed at fostering the development of innovative (AI-based) applications for Neat’s video hardware devices.

You will be pivotal in establishing and growing our developer community from scratch, focusing on creating a compelling value proposition that attracts developers to build apps for our video devices.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a passion for working closely with developers, a knack for crafting compelling value propositions, and a creative approach to marketing that resonates with developer audiences.

What you will do

  • Lead the exploratory phase of the developer program, delving deep into Neat's device capabilities and understanding developer needs and opportunities.
  • Build a scalable developer program to engage software developers interested in creating apps for our award-winning video hardware devices.
  • Define strategic direction of the program, outlining clear objectives, KPIs and success metrics.
  • Craft compelling audience-specific messages, content and tools with developer audiences, highlighting unique opportunities and benefits of developing for Neat devices.
  • Cultivate and grow a vibrant developer community through relevant channels including online forums, social platforms and developer events (hackathons, workshops, webinars, etc.).
  • Implement programs and initiatives to onboard developers, ensuring a seamless experience from integration to deployment.
  • Collaborate cross functionally across the product management, engineering and marketing to drive the expansion of a robust app ecosystem and success of Neat App Hub.
  • Be the voice of the developer within Neat, advocating for developer needs and driving initiatives to support their success.
  • Create and communicate Neat’s value proposition to them and how we work with developers to create new apps that will provide our customers with even greater choice and flexibility.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven track record in developer relations, developer marketing, or a related technical marketing role within the software or consumer technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of developer personas, motivations, ecosystems, APIs, SDKs, evolving landscape of developer tools and technologies.
  • Ability to formulate and articulate business value, joint value propositions with internal and external audiences, particularly developers.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with video hardware devices and AI technologies is a strong plus.
