Job summary

Ping Identity seeks a Product Manager for Developer Experience to champion the SDKs, APIs, and tooling powering our IAM platform. You will simplify complex identity capabilities into developer-friendly experiences across web and mobile, accelerating time to first integration.

You will partner with engineering, documentation, and the open-source community to gather insights, define roadmaps, and write technical content, blending human and AI-focused engineering to keep Ping’s SDKs cutting-edge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands-on experience building software and speaking the developers' language.
• Knowledge of identity and security protocols (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, FIDO).
• Strong product sense for code ergonomics and API design.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive Developer Adoption: Own the product strategy and roadmap for Ping’s Orchestration SDK across Web, iOS, Android, and Hybrid frameworks.
• Champion Developer Experience: Partner with documentation and developer relations to deliver docs, quick-start guides, and sample apps.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration: Work with Engineering and PM to expose new identity capabilities and align with platform releases.
• Gather Developer Insights: Engage customers and partners to map journeys and translate feedback into backlog.
• Evangelize the Product: Write technical blog posts and participate in developer forums.
• Execute the Vision: Manage lifecycle from concept to release with a prioritized backlog and clear metrics.
