Job summary

Referment, a technology-focused developer experience group in New York, seeks a software developer to improve tools, platforms, and infrastructure that shape how engineers write, review, test and ship software.

You will work with internal developers to identify needs, build and integrate practical improvements across IDEs, build systems and CI/CD, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into delivered solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Strong Linux coding skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with IDE integrations, CI/CD, and version control is important.

Responsibilities

• Build IDE integrations and enhancements for productivity and in-editor tooling.
• Own and improve build infrastructure for speed, reliability and reproducibility.
• Streamline CI/CD, testing and deployment workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-powered developer tools responsibly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn requirements into delivered solutions.
