Job summary

Referment is building a Developer Experience team to improve how engineers write, review, test and ship software. You will work with internal developers to identify friction and deliver practical improvements across IDEs, build systems, CI/CD and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• 3+ years in software development, infrastructure, or developer tooling.
• Proficient in Linux environments.
• Experience with IDE integrations, CI/CD, version control, or productivity platforms.
• Clear communication and experience working with users.

Responsibilities

• Identify needs with internal developers and support adoption of better tools and processes.
• Build IDE integrations and enhancements for productivity and in-editor tooling.
• Own and improve build infrastructure for speed, reliability and reproducibility across diverse codebases.
• Streamline CI/CD, testing and deployment workflows.
• Evaluate and integrate AI-powered developer tools responsibly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn requirements into delivered solutions.
