Job summary

Descope is seeking a Developer Experience Engineer to join the DevRel Team in Los Altos. You’ll work hands-on with developers, build integrations, and influence product direction from the field.

You’ll engage with the developer community, create technical content (docs, demos, tutorials), guide integrations, and help scale authentication across platforms while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Developer Relations or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong software engineering background with hands-on coding.
• Experience building integrations and onboarding developers.
• Solid understanding of authentication/authorization (AuthN/AuthZ).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex topics.
• Experience creating technical content (docs, demos, tutorials).

Responsibilities

• Engage with developers to understand use cases and provide hands-on guidance.
• Lead implementation efforts and POCs for customers.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate feedback into improvements.
• Create high-quality technical content including documentation and demos.
• Contribute to open source projects and build integrations across platforms.
• Plan and deliver developer-focused events and workshops.
• Manage developer communications across channels.
• Support product launches with actionable resources.
