Job summary

Buildkite is seeking a Developer Events Lead in the Bay Area who will shape where Buildkite shows up in the developer community, from conferences to workshops and sponsorships. You’ll own the strategy, budget, partners, and systems behind our events program, with autonomy to experiment and iterate for better outcomes.

You’ll work cross-functionally with GTM, Sales, and Brand, starting in the Bay Area, with opportunities to expand regionally.

Qualifications

• You've developed and led an events, community, or field marketing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Shape our events strategy and measure ROI.
• Build budgets, vendor relationships, and operational playbooks.
• Create a scalable, repeatable events program.
• Own flagship events end-to-end from planning to post-event analysis.
• Represent Buildkite to customers, community leaders, partners, sponsors, and industry stakeholders.
