As a member of the IT development team, you will implement software changes and address data-related issues. You will also champion technology and tool changes that improve delivery processes and work collaboratively with a dedicated agile team.Key Responsibilities* Develop effective solutions for new and existing data reporting requirements and data issues, primarily using DataStage.* Perform root cause analysis and address existing issues.* Identify gaps in existing processes, continuously improve procedures, and automate manual tasks to provide application stability.* Participate in the analysis of agile user stories and develop solutions based on business requirements and architecture.* Perform analysis and make code changes to DataStage ETL and Unix jobs.* Support applications in production.Required Qualifications**Education:** A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent working experience, is required.**Experience:** A minimum of 5+ years of experience is required.**Technical Skills:** Proficiency in DataStage (preferably version 11.7 or newer), UNIX, shell scripting, Control-M, and SQL (db2/Sybase/Oracle) is necessary. Experience with Jira and Bitbucket is also required.
