Job summary

Orkes seeks a Developer Community Engagement professional to grow our open-source community around Orkes and Conductor. This externally-facing role blends community engagement, developer marketing and technical content creation to help developers adopt our platform.

You’ll educate developers on workflow orchestration, agentic workflows and distributed systems, build programs, and own events such as webinars and workshops while engaging with contributors and power users.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of impactful experience in engagement with developers for deeply technical products in a community context.
• Proactive, self-directed and thrives in developer communities.
• Strong technical foundation; you’ve written code and understand how developers think.
• Created technical educational content such as presentations, written work, videos, demos, or workshops.
• Can simplify complex concepts for developers new to the topic.
• Resilient and execution-focused.

Responsibilities

• Interact with developers across online and in-person communities to drive awareness and usage of our products.
• Answer technical questions, unblock users, and foster an inclusive, knowledgeable community.
• Educate developers on workflow orchestration, agentic workflows, and distributed systems via content and programs.
• Build relationships to empower contributors, advocates, and power users.
• Create educational content such as blogs, tutorials, videos, and learning materials.
• Own webinars, workshops, AMAs, demos, and community events end-to-end.
• Represent Orkes at conferences, meetups, podcasts, and online events.
• Bring developer feedback back to Product and Engineering.
