Agentic is seeking a Developer Community Engagement specialist to enhance its open-source community around Orkes and Conductor. This role demands active engagement with developers, creation of high-quality educational content, and representation at community events.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, and at least 2 years of experience in community engagement. This hybrid or in-office position is vital for growing developer interactions and fostering long-term adoption of our platform.
About Us
Orkes is building the platform that powers the next generation of enterprise applications and AI systems. Founded by the creators of the open-source Netflix Conductor orchestration platform, Orkes helps organizations build, deploy, and operate mission-critical workflows and AI agents at massive scale. Our platform combines workflow and agent orchestration, integrations, observability, and resilience into a unified developer experience, enabling teams to build and operate complex deterministic and agentic workflows with confidence. From global enterprises to fast-growing startups, customers rely on Orkes to automate business-critical processes and execute billions of workflow and agent executions with the reliability, visibility, and fault tolerance required for production systems.
We’re looking for someone well-versed in Developer Community Engagement to drive our open-source community. This is a high-impact, externally-facing role for someone who genuinely loves the developer community and wants to help it grow around Orkes and Conductor.
This role sits at the intersection of community engagement, developer marketing, and technical content creation. You’ll help developers discover Orkes and aid them in successfully adopting the platform through high-quality technical education, community interaction, and advocacy. You’ll serve as a catalyst for increasing community engagement, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating programs that encourage participation, contribution, and long-term adoption.
This is the perfect role for someone with a background in working with developer communities, a passion for technology, and excitement about helping create agentic transformation for developers and organizations. Ideally, you have a background in technical marketing, developer relations, or developer education and enjoy being externally visible to our community.
