Job summary

Sent, Inc. is seeking a Developer Advocate to be the technical voice for Sent among developers. You will produce tutorials, demos, posts, videos, and talks, and engage with developers where they hang out: Hacker News, X, Reddit, Discord, GitHub.

You'll build the tutorial for “how to send WhatsApp from Node.js,” attend events and hackathons, host demos, and provide ready answers in developer discussions comparing Sent to competitors. You will embed Sent in the dev ecosystem.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years as a developer, with 1–2 years in DevRel or as a public-facing IC
• You ship code and can build a working integration quickly
• Public technical content portfolio (blogs, repos, talks, videos, etc.)
• Strong writing with clear explanations of technical concepts
• Comfort with messaging, telecom, or API infrastructure is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Publish tutorials, comparisons, deep dives, demos, samples on a regular cadence
• Maintain a strong presence on dev channels (X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Speak at conferences, run booths or events as needed
• Host/co-host events and hackathons embedding Sent in the dev ecosystem
• Own the SDK and quickstart experience end-to-end, feed friction back to engineering
• Run office hours or livestreams to engage builders with the product
