Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Developer Advocate to grow and engage our developer ecosystem. You will craft content, deliver technical workshops, and help scale our developer program across communities and channels.

You will work with product, engineering, marketing, and events teams to design compelling experiences, drive adoption, and represent ServiceNow at conferences and online venues.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Developer Advocate or Developer Relations team member or related experience supporting Developer success.
• 6+ years as a Developer or Engineer across cloud software development, PaaS, SaaS.
• Experience in producing technical content and public speaking.
• Familiarity with developer communities and open-source ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Attract, inspire, and enable a thriving ecosystem through proactive direct engagement and learning mindset.
• Create content (blogs, videos, code samples, workshops, webinars) as a trusted technical peer.
• Scale content creation and support production needs of the Developer Advocate team.
• Plan and execute developer experiences like hackathons, workshops, and meetups.
• Build events and meetups to drive community collaboration.
• Engage networks of developers and promote development on ServiceNow.
• Contribute to social media and blogging to raise developer awareness.
• Identify new channels to reach and engage developers; collaborate with Product Marketing, PM, Eng, Events, Campaigns.
