Job summary

Avala in San Francisco seeks a Developer Advocate to help robotics and AV engineers leverage Avala's platform—from Python SDK to the annotation API. You will craft tutorials, sample code, and documentation for our SDKs and APIs, and present at conferences, meetups, and webinars on Physical AI data infrastructure.

You will build demo applications and reference architectures for common AV/robotics workflows, engage with our developer community on GitHub and forums, and provide actionable feedback

Qualifications

3+ years as a developer advocate, solutions engineer, or technical content creator.
Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript.
Experience with ML workflows, computer vision, or robotics.
Excellent public speaking and technical writing skills.
Active presence in developer communities.

Responsibilities

Create technical tutorials, sample code, and documentation for Avala's SDKs and APIs.
Present at conferences, meetups, and webinars on Physical AI data infrastructure.
Build demo applications and reference architectures for AV/robotics workflows.
Engage with the developer community on GitHub, Discord, and forums.
Provide feedback from developers to product and engineering teams.
Contribute to open-source tools and format specifications in the Physical AI ecosystem.
