Job summary

Modular is seeking a Developer Advocate to evangelize the MAX Platform’s inference and serving capabilities. You will create technical content, such as user guides and blog posts, and provide talks at conferences to empower our developer community.

The role targets candidates in the US or Canada, with hybrid work in Los Altos, CA for earlier career staff, and potential remote work for senior staff. Travel to conferences and events is expected, roughly monthly, plus 2–4 yearly company events.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience creating technical content for developer audiences (blogs, tutorials, videos, docs).
• Understanding of ML inference stack, model serving architectures, GPU acceleration.
• Strong Python skills; systems programming experience (C++, Rust, or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical content and guidance for MAX inference and serving to developers.
• Create tutorials, guides, videos, and examples demonstrating MAX performance on CPUs and GPUs.
• Write blog posts and engage with the community on GitHub, Discord, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn.
