Asana, Inc. seeks a Developer Advocate to energize and grow its developer ecosystem in NYC, shaping how developers build with Asana APIs and SDKs. This role blends technical depth with a strong external voice, contributing content, events, and feedback to product roadmaps.

You’ll engage with communities, write tutorials, and help teams translate developer needs into platform enhancements while operating in a hybrid office setting in New York.

Qualifications

• Experience building developer community programs.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, webhooks, and SDKs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate developer feedback into product improvements.
• Office-based in NYC with hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute developer engagement strategies to drive adoption of Asana’s platform, APIs, and SDKs.
• Author high-quality technical content, including tutorials, blog posts, and API documentation.
• Engage with the developer community across forums, events, and social channels.
• Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Design to provide actionable developer feedback for roadmap shaping.
• Mentor and guide junior advocates and community members.
