We are an open source feature flagging and A/B testing platform that helps companies make better data-driven product decisions. Our platform gives any company the power of a customized deployment and A/B testing solution like those used by AirBnB, Netflix, Uber, etc., without having to build it. Used in production by thousands of companies globally.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

We are building an open source feature flagging and A/B testing platform. If you love the engineering challenges faced by large tech companies but want the ownership and flexibility of a small startup, then we are a good fit for you.

We are a small, distributed team across the US, backed by Y Combinator and Khosla Ventures. We help companies release code quickly and confidently while measuring the impact of their launches.

As an open source company, we focus on bottom-up adoption and building a product that engineers love to use. We have an active open source community on Slack that provides constant feedback, feature requests, and ideas. Our platform is already used in production by hundreds of companies, and we are just getting started!

POSITION OVERVIEW

Some of the problems you will work on:

1. Dev Tools Extension: We have a simple Chrome extension that allows developers to quickly test feature flags on their websites. There is potential to expand this into a world-class developer experience.
2. Technical Content: We support dozens of databases, programming languages, and frameworks. We want to provide relevant documentation, tutorials, and example code tailored to each tech stack to help developers start using our product quickly.
3. Community Engagement: We have a thriving open source Slack community and aim to grow and engage our users further. This may involve organizing meetups, talks, hack weeks, contests, and speaking at conferences.

Requirements

• Previous experience in an engineering or developer advocate role
• Track record of published technical content and/or public speaking
• Fluent English and good communication skills
• Startup experience or interest in working in a small company
• Bonus: Contributed to an open-source project
• Bonus: Fluent in multiple programming languages
