We are currently looking for a Developer Advocate to join our team. This position has a preference for candidates in the Atlanta market, but fully remote candidates who meet all of the requirements may be considered.
Essential Functions:
- Technical Advisor: Support client- and market-facing teams as they identify and engage new opportunities for our API platform to create, simplify, and scale healthcare automation.
- Developer Support:Assist external developers with integration, troubleshooting, and best practices to ensure a seamless experience with our API platform.
- Technical Content Creation: Produce high-quality, developer-focused content—including blog posts, tutorials, sample code, and videos—to educate and inspire the developer community.
- Community Engagement: Activelyparticipate in forums, social media, conferences, and workshops to connect with developers, gather feedback, and foster relationships with industry experts (Slack, video calls, email, events, etc.).
- Community Feedback: Leverage insights from the developer community tointernally align teams to meet and exceed developer needs, foster adoption, and promote innovation.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor'sdegree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- 3-5 years in a developer relations, technical product, or software engineering role, preferably with a focus on healthcare technology.
- Technical Skills: Strong background in software development with experience in RESTful APIs,GraphQL, AI/ML/LLM technologies, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and Git-based collaboration tools.
- Healthcare Knowledge: Familiarity with FHIR, HIPAA, and other U.S. healthcare data standards and regulatory frameworks. Understanding of healthcare interoperability, healthcare
- IT systems, and provider-side operations (e.g., scheduling, referrals,and care coordination).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating developer-facing content andclearly presenting complex technical concepts.
- Community Engagement: Proventrack record of engaging with developer communities through events, social media, and content creation.
Travel:
- This role may require travel up to 20% of the time as determined by business needs.
Compensation:
For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this type of position is $82,000-$120,000 USD. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity, and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location.
