Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a software and systems engineer to perform end-to-end lifecycle development, integration and validation across cyber security, software and hardware infrastructure for mission systems. You will convert customer requirements into concrete HW/SW features and ensure alignment with deployment pipelines.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, containerization, scripting, and collaboration across teams, with eligibility for a DoD security clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

Analyses performed at all levels of syst product incl. concept, design, fabrication, test, instl, operation, maintenance & disposal, incorp design methods & stds for Cyber Security, SW & HW infrastructure. Designs, devels, docs, tests & debugs SW that contains logical & math solutions to business/mission problems/questions in computer language. Ensures the logical & syst conversion of customer/product reqs into total syst solutions that ack tech, sched, cost constraints & align to SW & HW deployment pipelines & factories. Performs func & timeline analysis, detail trade & reqs allocation & interface defs studies to translate customer reqs into HW & SW feature defs & acceptance criteria. Applies stds, processes, procedures & tools throughout the devel life cycle. Applies HW & SW knowledge, cyber security stds in business/mission apps, & feedback from users to develop SW. • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
• Experience with Docker and/or Containerization.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance with background investigation within 6 years

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81100.00 - $150500.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
