Job summary

Aditi Consulting is seeking an agency engineer to develop, conduct, analyze, and manage engine structures & dynamics validation tests using Company standards and technologies for Large Power Systems Division.

You will evaluate complex structural failure modes, provide technical guidance to drive NTI, NPI, and CPI product solutions, and use data acquisition systems (eDAQ, LMS, cDAQ) to analyze vibration, stress/strain data, perform modal testing, and coordinate prototype hardware and test setups.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of testing experience.
• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.

Job description

Payrate: $40.00 - $41.00/hr.

Position’s Contributions to Work Group:

• Validation of components and resolution of field issues will ensure Company product quality trough vibration testing of engines and package gensets

Typical task breakdown:

• This position is for an agency engineer responsible for developing, conducting, analyzing, and managing engine structures & dynamics validation tests using Company standards & technologies. Validation will be of engine components and systems for Large Power Systems Division (LPSD). Candidate must be able to evaluate complex structural failure modes and provide technical guidance/expertise to drive NTI, NPI, and CPI product solutions.
• Utilizing data acquisition systems (eDAQ, LMS, cDAQ), analyzing data (linear vibration, stress/strain, ME-SCOPE, LMS), performing modal testing, coordination of design and procurement of prototype hardware, and setting up test (instrumentation & gaging as appropriate).

Education & Experience Required:

• Years of experience: 2+ years of testing experience
• Degree requirement: BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $40.00 - $41.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
