Job description

An enterprise technology team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support critical network, Linux, server, and DOCSIS infrastructure. You’ll troubleshoot production environments, improve monitoring, support deployments, and help maintain reliable systems across a complex telecommunications technology landscape.

This role is a strong fit for an infrastructure professional who enjoys working through challenging production issues and learning how large-scale network systems operate. The position also offers hands-on exposure to automation, cloud infrastructure, container technologies, and collaboration with network, systems, QA, and software engineering teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-6 years of experience in network engineering, systems engineering, IT operations, or a related field
• Strong networking skills with technologies such as Cisco or Juniper
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience
• Experience diagnosing and resolving production infrastructure or software issues
• Experience supporting deployment, maintenance, monitoring, or release-readiness activities

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting vCMTS, DOCSIS, telecommunications, or similar production environments
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Scripting or programming experience
• Familiarity with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or other automation tools
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, or continuous integration practices
