Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Lead to provide on‑site leadership and guidance for our established DevOps team supporting DOCSIS Device Activation and Management platforms. This onshore role focuses on team leadership, strategic guidance, and hands‑on support when specialized expertise is needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor existing DevOps team members across SRE, CI/CD, Release Management, App Support, and Observability functions
• Identify operational challenges and guide the team toward effective solutions
• Provide strategic direction for DevOps initiatives and process improvements
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues requiring senior expertise
• Provide hands‑on support during critical incidents or when team capacity is limited
• Guide troubleshooting efforts and knowledge transfer to team members

Process & Standards Development

• Help establish best practices and standards across all DevOps functions
• Review and improve existing operational procedures and playbooks
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cross‑training within the team

Required Qualifications

• Telecommunications Background: Experience with DOCSIS, cable modem systems, or telecom infrastructure
• AWS & Kubernetes Expertise: Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes orchestration
• Splunk Experience: Proficiency in Splunk for monitoring, alerting, and log analysis
• DevOps Leadership: 5+ years leading DevOps teams with hands‑on technical expertise
