Job summary

RealPage is seeking a Developer Analyst II to lead advanced root cause analysis of complex product escalations. You will mentor junior analysts, contribute to knowledge resources, and collaborate with Support, Product Management, and Engineering to drive timely resolutions.

You will work with RealPage’s Unified Platform, focusing on cloud-based property management solutions, data access, and secure login workflows, while maintaining high-quality documentation and cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical, analytical, or business field.
• 4–5 years of experience in technical support, product operations, or related SaaS/enterprise software roles.
• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and develop actionable solutions using data and product knowledge.
• Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for issue investigation and data validation.
• Experience with REST APIs and reading API documentation for diagnostics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to document complex findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Resolve Tier 3 escalations using advanced root cause analysis, SQL, API diagnostics, and log analysis.
• Own product areas within Problem Management to build deep domain expertise.
• Document defects with precise reproduction steps, impact, and supporting data.
• Analyze escalation trends to identify recurring issues and guide improvements.
• Administer escalation tickets in Salesforce with accurate history and customer communications.
• Contribute to knowledge base with troubleshooting guides and SOPs.
• Mentor junior analysts on troubleshooting techniques and workflows.
• Coordinate defect resolution with Support, Product Management, and Engineering.
