Job summary

Clark Construction Company in Detroit, MI, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial programs across Southeast Michigan. You will provide strategic direction, mentor project teams, manage client relationships, and help grow Clark's Detroit office.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of PM experience in commercial construction, with historic renovation or adaptive reuse experience preferred. Strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering/Architecture or related field.
• 10+ years of progressively responsible project management experience in commercial construction.
• Proven success managing large-scale, complex construction projects and overseeing multiple project teams.
• Experience with historic renovation, restoration, adaptive reuse, or preservation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop execution strategies: budget, schedule, risk, QA, procurement, and changes.
• Allocate resources across concurrent projects and mentor project teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and oversee stakeholder communication.
• Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement across projects.
• Support business development and market growth across Southeast Michigan.
