Job summary

Audacy is seeking an on-air personality for WOMC in Detroit. This full-time, on-site role requires creating original content and performing live broadcasts, while engaging audiences across social media and at live events.

You should be a strong communicator with a passion for music and pop culture, familiar with FCC guidelines, and able to manage logs, promotions, and production tasks. At least 5 years on-air experience preferred; valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and strong creative skills.
• Deep knowledge of music and pop culture for the target audience.
• Familiarity with FCC guidelines.
• Experience with Wide Orbit, Vox Pro, Adobe Audition or GSelector preferred.
• At least 5 years on-air experience preferred with a ratings track record.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
• Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; manage online presence.
• Protect the station’s FCC license.
• Participate in Radiothons, live broadcasts and on-stage events.
• Monitor music and commercial logs for the airshift.
• Ensure promotions and contests are executed properly; operate the control board and production work.
• Other duties as required by management.
