Eccalon, LLC in Detroit, MI is seeking an experienced Technical Hiring Manager to lead end-to-end technical hiring for software engineers and related roles. You will partner with Engineering and Product leadership to forecast needs, define hiring priorities, and establish high-bar hiring standards across teams.

You will design interview frameworks for system design, platform thinking, and engineering depth; conduct technical interviews; and act as a technical advisor on role definition,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or technical leadership.
• Proven experience as a hiring manager for software engineers and technical roles.
• Deep understanding of modern software systems and platforms, including distributed systems, cloud-native platforms, and data-intensive, high-availability systems.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, backend and platform engineering concepts, APIs, microservices, and security concerns.

• Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to forecast hiring needs aligned to platform and system roadmaps.
• Define hiring priorities based on platform complexity and architecture goals.
• Establish high-bar technical hiring standards across teams.
• Design and oversee interview frameworks that assess system design, platform thinking, and engineering depth.
• Personally conduct technical interviews on architecture, scalability, and code quality.
• Act as a technical advisor on role definition, leveling, and scope.
