Eccalon in Detroit, MI is seeking an experienced Technical Hiring Manager to lead and execute high-impact technical hiring across the organization. This role sits at the intersection of engineering excellence and talent strategy, partnering with engineering leadership to build high-performing teams.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, deep knowledge of software architectures, and proven experience in evaluating engineers across disciplines, seniority, and system complexity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or technical leadership.
• Proven experience as a hiring manager for software engineers and technical roles.
• Deep understanding of modern software systems and platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end technical hiring strategies for software engineers and technical roles.
• Forecast hiring needs aligned to platform roadmaps with Engineering and Product leadership.
• Define hiring priorities based on platform complexity and long-term goals.
• Establish consistent, high-bar technical hiring standards across teams.
• Design and oversee interview frameworks for system design and platform thinking.
• Personally conduct technical interviews covering architecture, scalability, and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with HR and engineering leaders to align hiring with company values and culture.
