Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking a Withdrawal Management Supervisor to lead the WM unit in collaboration with the Medical Director. You will monitor clients, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide essential nursing care while upholding the mission of the organization.

Responsibilities include supervision of WM staff, accurate charting, medication handling, and coordinating with physicians and the Clinical Manager.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Indiana (preferred).
• Minimum Licensed Practical Nurse is required.
• Two years of supervisory/management experience in nursing with substance use focus preferred.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Withdrawal Management (WM) unit and staff; coordinate with Clinical Manager and Medical Director.
• Ensure compliance with CFR-42, CARF, and licensing requirements; maintain confidential records.
• Monitor clients’ medical status, document accurately, and dispense medications per physician orders.
• Lead department meetings, coordinate shift handovers, and ensure 24/7 WM coverage.
• Provide First Aid/CPR, manage emergencies, and coordinate referrals to community resources.
• Oversee training, performance evaluations, and staff scheduling; manage inventory and safety.
• Maintain policies, participate in infection control meetings, and ensure regulatory readiness.
