Stonington Institute, a division of Universal Health Services, Inc., is seeking a full-time Detox Support Supervisor for our North Stonington, CT location. The role oversees shift staff, coordinates admissions and nursing schedules, and ensures policy compliance while providing quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Recovery Coach certification required.
• Previous supervisory experience required; Medical Assistant and/or CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff work and shift activities; prioritizes tasks and delegates duties as needed.
• Serves as a resource to DSS and Admissions Specialists regarding client care issues, including after-hours calls.
• With the Director of Nursing, develops and publishes Medical Assistant & Admissions Specialists schedules.
• Monitors staff performance and conducts appraisals and competency assessments in a timely manner.
• Oversees and documents orientation of new staff.
