Job summary

CRI-Help, Inc in Los Angeles seeks a Detox Support Technician to monitor and supervise detox clients and assist with admission and orientation. You will ensure safety and compliance with policies and document observations and vital signs throughout shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, CCAPP/CAADE/CADTP certification, CPR/First Aid, and at least 1 year of qualifying experience. Random drug screenings may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified or registered with CCAPP, CAADE or CADTP.
• Certified in CPR / First Aid Training.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise detox clients.
• Assist with admission and orientation of detox clients.
• Search property and belongings for contraband.
• Measure vital signs and record results.
• Report safety infractions to supervisor.
• Complete client documentation and logs.
• Respond to call bells promptly.
• Chart client activities and conditions accurately.
• Communicate with health care team and physicians.
• Follow doctor’s orders and adjust if needed.
• Supervise and document self-administered medications.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Detox Manager or Senior Detox Support Technician.
