Qualifications

• Registration with CCAPP or ACCBC (or equivalent) demonstrating ethical standards and professional development.
• Solid understanding of recovery concepts, withdrawal symptoms, and addiction recovery stages.
• Prior experience in addiction counseling, residential treatment, or related fields is beneficial.
• Familiarity with basic medical practices, including vital signs and documenting observations.
• CPR and First Aid certifications up-to-date to respond to emergencies.
• Health clearances ensuring fitness for role and participant safety.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of participants during detoxification and residential services, ensuring safety.
• Monitor withdrawal symptoms, adverse reactions to medications, and vital signs.
• Maintain accurate records of observations, progress, and incidents to guide treatment plans.
• Act as recovery advocate, engaging participants in recovery activities and community groups.
• Assist with participant transportation to appointments, meetings, and activities.
• Connect participants with community resources to support recovery.
• Oversee drug and alcohol testing to ensure program compliance and accountability.
