Job summary

Granite Recovery Center is seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to care for patients in a residential detox setting. Responsibilities include admissions, medication administration, TB testing, and direct patient care under supervision.

Strong communication, leadership, and the ability to handle crisis situations are essential. Applicants must hold an unrestricted NH RN license, CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens certifications, and pass NH background checks.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted RN license in NH is required.
• Current CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens certifications required.
• Must pass NH criminal background and driving record checks.
• Detox, emergency, or med-surge nursing experience preferred (1 year).
• Knowledge of detoxification for substance abuse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete admissions procedures and initial documentation.
• Monitor admission belongings and dispose of forbidden items as needed.
• Administer and read TB skin tests; document results.
• Provide direct patient care and monitor for intoxication/ withdrawal.
• Develop treatment plans with patients under supervision.
• Update Medication Administration Records and administer meds as ordered.
• Communicate with in-house and external staff to ensure quality care.
• Maintain hygienic, safe environment and ongoing documentation.
