Job summary

Granite Recovery Centers, LLC. in New Hampshire is seeking a Full Time APRN to oversee the day-to-day medical flow, manage admissions for new clients, and identify chronic and acute medical needs in collaboration with the nursing team.

The APRN will report to the Medical Director, document care, and promote a collaborative, client-centered approach within a detox setting, ensuring compliance and high-quality care for individuals facing substance use disorders.

Qualifications

• APRN Licensure and Certification in the appropriate state, maintains current licensure per state requirements
• Malpractice insurance coverage
• Current CPR and Standard First Aid Certificate
• DEA license preferred
• Previous experience working in and a strong commitment to a team environment
• Previous work with addictions, mental illness, and homelessness or willingness to learn understanding of the systemic issues affecting those we serve preferred
• Knowledge/experience of how to safely de-escalate potentially volatile situations
• Current CPR and Standard First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day medical flow and admissions processes
• Identify and document chronic and acute medical needs and communicate to nursing staff
• Represent the facility in a professional and collaborative manner
• Provide medical assessments and on-call coverage in detox settings
• Discuss code blue and medical transfers with the team
• Ensure all documentation is non-judgmental and compliant with standards
• Coordinate referrals to appropriate resources and community organizations
