Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Richmond, VA is seeking an administrator for our inpatient Detox and Residential facility. You will manage HR onboarding and termination, oversee payroll, and support operations to ensure compliant, smooth daily functions.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus a college degree and prior leadership experience. Healthcare experience in SUD or mental health is preferred. This on-site position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities

• Manage the HR onboarding and termination process.
• Oversee payroll management.
• Handle transportation for external appointments as needed.
• Provide coverage for other staff to ensure administrative processes are completed.
• Assist leadership in urgent regulatory, operational, and client needs.
• Maintain an organized, clean workspace.
• Assist with errands, inventory, and facility needs.
• Complete role-specific tasks in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
