Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services' Danvers Treatment Center, a 41-bed detoxification program, seeks a Recovery Specialist for a day shift. Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 6:45 am–3:15 pm (40 hours).

You will monitor client safety, supervise the milieu, conduct wellbeing checks, perform admissions duties, search belongings, and ensure timely documentation per agency policy. Requires a high school diploma or GED; experience with substance use preferred; MA driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with substance use population preferred.
• Valid MA Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
• Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being check.
• Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties.
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor.
• Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
