Job summary

The Danvers Treatment Center, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Recovery Specialist for a per diem role. You will help provide 24-hour nursing support to monitor withdrawal, assist with admission screenings, and maintain safety and order within the unit.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and preferred experience with substance use populations; a MA driver’s license is also preferred. Pay ranges between $20.00 and $24.38 per hour with potential shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with substance use population preferred.
• Valid MA Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
• Observes and supervises clients and unit; conducts 30 minute client well-being check.
• Conducts telephone admission screenings as well as other admissions duties.
• Searches client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as otherwise directed by supervisor.
• Completes all necessary checklists, shift documentation and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
