The successful candidate will be a Maine-licensed RN with leadership experience, CPR certification, experience in withdrawal screening/assessment, and strong skills in supervision, EHR use, data quality, and collaborative

Qualifications

• Must hold current Maine RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• 2+ years of nursing leadership or management experience required.
• Experience in withdrawal screening, assessment and treatment is a plus.
• Experience in hiring, supervising and coaching staff required.
• Proficient with EHR and office software.

Responsibilities

• Direct activities and services for the detox facility.
• Maintain 24/7 nursing staff schedule and PRN pool.
• Provide backup direct nursing care when needed.
• Supervise and coach program staff.
• Foster teamwork and professional growth.
• Ensure high-quality client care per standards.
• Hold weekly staff meetings and daily huddles with medical providers.
• Ensure infection control and medication guidelines are followed.
• Maintain accurate client records and data.
• Oversee data collection and quality improvement.
• Stay updated on best practices and update policies.
• Coordinate with pharmacy operations.
• Maintain program budget and solvency.
• With Medical Director, oversee treatment decisions.
• Manage staff callouts and on-call coverage.
• Communicate with other agencies and resources.
• Ensure confidentiality per 42 CFR.
