Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in medical settings preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assist nurses with care of patients withdrawing from drugs and alcohol, including potential night shifts.
• Support triage, admission and discharge processes for withdrawal management services.
• Maintain charts and documentation per policies and procedures.
• Monitor patients for medical symptoms and behavioral changes as part of the care team.
• Communicate with treatment staff regarding clinical and non-clinical issues.
• Handle medication support and urine drug screening duties as needed.
• Ensure patient comfort with access to fluids, snacks, meals, clothing and bedding.
• Adhere to HIPAA, privacy laws and confidentiality policies.
