Job summary

Sierra Health and Wellness is seeking an LVN to work closely with the Medical Director and staff in a detox/treatment setting. The LVN will monitor vital signs, manage patient medications, and document care plans in a compliant EMR environment.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, reviewing records, and reporting patient status to the medical director. The role requires 12-hour shifts with overtime rules and adherence to state health codes.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and PHI; strong privacy discipline.
• Basic computer skills and EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff in daily patient care.
• Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes to evaluate residents.
• Provide nursing care per physician orders and established policies.
• Prepare and monitor patient-administered medications as ordered by physician.
• Document charting and care plans; maintain HIPAA-compliant records.
