Job summary

Nexus Family Recovery Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Detox Assistant to provide safe, quality care to clients in a medically supervised detox program. You will assist nursing and clinical staff, monitor withdrawal, and help with daily client needs in a structured setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant or CNA certification preferred.
• Experience in substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, healthcare, or residential care preferred.
• Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders or withdrawal preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor detox clients to ensure safety and well-being.
• Complete vitals and withdrawal assessments; document in EHRs.
• Assist with meals, hydration, hygiene supplies, and comfort items.
• Maintain clean, organized detox environment and support staff in care.
