Job summary

The Dimock Center in Boston, MA is seeking a Per Diem Nurse in Addiction Medicine to provide comprehensive nursing care within medically monitored withdrawal management services. You will assess patients, administer meds, monitor withdrawal, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and person-centered recovery.

Requirements include an RN license in Massachusetts, a current CPR certification, and 1 year of nursing experience, with Addiction Nursing certification preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license in Massachusetts (unrestricted).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Experience in detoxification, substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or emergency services preferred.
• Certification in Addiction Nursing (CARN) or related specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and monitor withdrawal symptoms.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, counselors, and staff to implement individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Provide patient-centered care and education for patients and families.
