Job summary

Ace Hardware Home Services, Inc. is seeking a hands-on HVAC Installer to join our Dayton-area team. You will install and assemble heating and air-conditioning systems, design ductwork and piping, and maintain precise logs of work performed. You will also interact with customers to uphold our high service standards.

The role requires a dependable team player with a proactive attitude, able to thrive under pressure and meet the daily demands of field installation work.

Qualifications

• EPA Universal Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to hustle and thrive under pressure.

Job description

Compensation Details: $16 - $20 Per Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Work directly under the supervision of a qualified Lead HVAC Installer.
• Assemble and install heating and air-conditioning units.
• Design and install HVAC equipment, ductwork, and piping.
• Maintain accurate logs of all work performed.
• Ensure our reputation for superior service is maintained during all interactions with customers.
• Complete special projects and additional duties as assigned / required.

What you need to succeed:

• 1 Year HVAC installation experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with ductwork, piping, oil, geothermal, and air flow is preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification Preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean MVR.
• High standards for your work.

Physical Requirements:

Physically able to work on HVAC units - Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders. Ability to work outside; exposed to heat and cold. Ability to hear and speak to exchange information. A valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of US driving experience, is required for this role. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
