The GEO Group, Inc. seeks a Transportation Manager to oversee detainee transportation operations at the facility, ensuring timely scheduling, staffing, and compliance with applicable laws and policies.

This role leads Supervisors and Officers, manages budgets, and coordinates with contractors to maintain safe, efficient transport services. Responsibilities include staffing plan management, training, performance reviews, and ensuring safety and regulatory adherence across all transportation

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• One year of detainee transportation leadership experience.
• Valid Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement within six months.
• DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements must be met.
• Certification in CPR, First Aid, Defensive Tactics and Firearms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain transportation staffing plan according to contract guidelines.
• Supervise Transportation Supervisors and approve Officer schedules.
• Approve performance improvements and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Provide training and ensure adherence to safety policies.
• Manage transportation budget and vendor relationships.
• Ensure incident reporting and regulatory compliance.
