Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of applicable laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
• Ability to adhere to agency core values and professionally represent the agency.
• Familiarity with CJIS, FCIC and NCIC systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security access for personnel, inmates and visitors.
• Operate a control panel to manage doors and security in assigned areas.
• Fingerprinting of individuals using manual and electronic systems.
• Respond to emergencies and security breaches.
• Communicate effectively with visitors and staff.
• Prepare clear, accurate written and oral reports.
• Work rotating 8-12 hour shifts including day, night and weekends.
• Attend to emergencies or natural disasters as required.
