Job summary

The Pima County Juvenile Court seeks a dedicated professional to coordinate quality assurance, PREA compliance, and juvenile rights initiatives within Juvenile Detention. You will develop and monitor QA measures, lead PREA training, investigations, and policy implementation, collaborating with detention leadership, staff, and partners to ensure safety and rights.

This on-site role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years in juvenile justice, with a preference for a master’s degree and PREA

Qualifications

• BA/BS in behavioral or social sciences, criminal justice, social work or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in a juvenile justice setting, with compliance audits.
• Pass post-offer background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality assurance audits and lead improvement activities for detention programs.
• Coordinate PREA compliance efforts and provide PREA training.
• Investigate staff misconduct and juvenile rights concerns.
• Develop and monitor policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with detention leadership and external providers.
