Job summary

Pima County Juvenile Court seeks a dedicated professional to coordinate quality assurance, PREA compliance, and juvenile rights initiatives within Juvenile Detention. The role partners with detention leadership, staff, and community providers to ensure safe, compliant operations while promoting youth well-being in a secure facility.

The incumbent develops and implements QA measures, conducts investigations and inspections, and oversees PREA activities to support safety and adherence to standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in juvenile justice or related compliance roles.
• Experience with audits, policy evaluation, and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance audits and drive improvement for detention programs and juvenile rights compliance.
• Coordinate PREA activities, training, reporting, and investigations.
• Oversee juvenile rights processes and manage youth grievances.
• Support investigations and operational guidance with detention leadership.
