Job summary

Doña Ana County seeks a Detention Center Case Manager to supervise adjudication operations while detainees are confined. You will monitor program assignments, coordinate volunteers, and ensure PREA policies are followed.

Responsibilities include collaborating with agencies to expand services, maintaining records, and advising detainees about provider locations upon discharge. CPR/First Aid certification is required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Community Health, or Corrections preferred.
• One year of full-time work experience in Social Work, Social Services, Corrections, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license; CPR and First Aid certification within six months of hire.
• Post-offer background checks and driving record checks as per County policy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate but does not provide counseling, educational, religious, or other detainee services.
• Monitor detainees on work release programs in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain records, prepare reports and correspondence.
• Collaborate with outside agencies to provide programs and social activities for detainees.
