Job summary

Gardaworld Federal Services is seeking an IT Specialist to support a detention facility's information technology operations. You will maintain computer systems, network infrastructure, security systems, and OT across the site, providing frontline tech support and ensuring secure, compliant IT services.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in helpdesk or junior admin roles, a valid CompTIA A+ (Security+ preferred), and strong knowledge of Windows/macOS, AD/Entra ID, and cloud suites. U.S.

Qualifications

• Three years of helpdesk/desktop support or junior sysadmin experience.
• Valid CompTIA A+ certification required; Security+ preferred.
• Proficient across Windows/macOS, AD/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365/Google Workspace.
• Must provide proof of citizenship or legal US work authorization.
• Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems and network devices.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor and sustain network connectivity, security systems, and OT infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation, perform updates, backups, and preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors and facility leadership for IT services and maintenance.
