Responsibilities

• Monitor access and movement of inmates, staff, and visitors to maintain security.

• Monitor alarm systems and fire safety equipment and notify responders as needed.
• Ensure only authorized individuals enter/exit the facility.
• Assist detention staff with information and referrals and respond to inquiries.
• Complete reports using multiple information sources and data collection techniques.
• Conduct daily shift briefing and communicate maintenance needs.
