Job summary

GEO Corrections & Detentions seeks a Transportation Supervisor to manage Officers responsible for detainee transport under the US Marshals Service. You’ll ensure vehicles and equipment meet SOPs, with regular maintenance and compliance with federal/state rules.

You’ll monitor missions, schedule staff, train officers, and coordinate safety and operational policies across the region, including fleet management and liaison duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Three years of continuous law enforcement related experience including at least two years as a supervisor.
• Must be a United States citizen.
• Must possess State Firearms License and State Security Guard License.
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Military training.
• Must have a valid US driver's license with clean record.
• Must pass DOT drug & alcohol test and background checks.
• Ability to work in varying climatic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, oversee and manage Officers assigned to USMS missions.
• Maintain roster and assign Officers to missions.
• Ensure DOT rules compliance and safety in transportation operations.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and records and coordinate inspections.
• Provide training and mentorship to Officers on policies and procedures.
