Lexicon is seeking a Detailing Manager to oversee all detailing activities and serve as the liaison between structural detailers, engineers and project managers. You will supervise detailing firms, coordinate designs, negotiate scopes and schedules, and ensure fabrication drawings meet requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction/Project Management or related and five years of relevant experience, plus proficiency in Tekla Structures, Blue Beam, and Adobe Pro.

• Detailing knowledge and ability to display complex plate assemblies on drawings.
• Knowledge of Tekla Structures software and related tools.

Position Summary

The Detailing Manager is responsible for overseeing all detailing activities and act as the liaison between the Structural/Steel Detailers, Engineers and Project Managers

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise detailing firms including detailers, checkers and modelers.
• Coordinate project design with engineers for connections and calculations.
• Negotiate detailing contracts, scopes and costs.
• Manage and track detailing schedules with Project Coordinators and Managers.
• Review design drawings for project requirements and provide direction on fabricator preferences.
• Review fabrication drawings for accuracy and presentation.
• Conduct daily meetings with Project Coordinators, Project Managers, and upper management.
• Program robots to fabricate steel members.
• Adhere to all company safety/OSHA rules and regulations.
• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management or related and five years of experience is required.
