Bergstrom Toyota of Oshkosh is seeking a Detail Technician - Flat Rate to perform thorough cleaning, polishing, waxing, and interior care for our vehicles. You will inspect for damage or defects and report findings to the service team, ensuring every vehicle meets our high standards before delivery or sale.

Collaborate with service and sales teams, maintain detailing equipment, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

If you’re passionate about delivering outstanding service and growing your career, Bergstrom is the place for you!Key ResponsibilitiesVehicle Detailing: Perform thorough cleaning, polishing, and waxing of vehicle exteriors and interiors, including washing, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning upholstery.Inspection: Inspect vehicles for any damage, defects, or areas requiring additional attention, and report findings to the service team.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all vehicles meet Bergstrom Automotive's high standards for cleanliness and presentation before they are returned to the guest or placed on the sales lot.Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean detailing equipment and ensure the work area is organized and safe.Product Application: Apply protective treatments to vehicles, such as paint sealants, leather conditioners, and fabric protectants.Team Collaboration: Work closely with the service and sales teams to prioritize and manage the detailing workload effectively.Schedule: Shifts ranging from 7am - 6pm Monday - Friday and 8am - 5pm Saturdays (in exchange for a weekday off)Pay starting at $15.00-18.00/hour based on experience. Earn an extra $2.00 per hour worked every Saturday!QualificationsExperience: Previous experience in automotive detailing or a related field is preferred.Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently, independently and with a team.Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.Knowledge: Familiarity with detailing products, tools, and techniques.Guest Service Orientation: Commitment to delivering a high level of service and quality to our guests.A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.Our Commitment to YouAt Bergstrom Automotive, we value our team members and are dedicated to providing a supportive and rewarding workplace.
